Networks Revolt Against Reporter-Blocking Palin UN Meeting


UPDATE: The McCain campaign gave in and agreed to let a CNN producer into the UN meetings.

The New York Times adds that reporters were let in for the preliminary part of Palin's meeting with Afghan President Hamid Karzai. Here's what they got:

Gotta say President Karzai's son Mirwais doesn't have as strange a name as Palin's five: Bristol, Piper, Track, Willow and (my personal favorite) Trig.

Maybe she's not such an "out of the box thinker" as the "experts" suggest. C'mon, people! It's where each of the children were conceived... on a Track (perhaps after a good run!), a fishing trip on Bristol Bay, a vacation to Willow, AK, in the back of a Piper plane in the wilderness! It's Trig that I can't figure out... but then again, his middle name is "one of his mother's favorite spots in Alaska". Hmmm... creativity, or just an "adventurous" personality. You decide.
